Microwave and electromagnetic radiation are considered as a very efficient idea in detecting and detecting tumors and cancerous masses. microstrip antennas are important in medical applications. In microstrip antennas, narrow band and lack of symmetric radiation pattern are considered as a weak point in detection and detection. Using common patterns of incomplete earth structure is important in order to improve the purity of polarization and improve bandwidth. The most common type of incomplete earth is circular, which is used in medical applications. In this paper, a broadband antenna with a new defective ground pattern with small dimensions and high -quality factor is proposed for microwave imaging applications with improved bandwidth. Monopole antennas are of special importance in implementing this technology due to light weight, low cost, ease of construction, integration with other systems. Structure with improved efficiency and gain is simulated with HFSS software and fabricated. Ultra-broadband antenna with feed line (CPW) and UWB designed on a FR-4 substrate with a relative transmittance of 4.3, tangential losses of 0.025 and a standard height of 1.6 mm, in sizes of 35 × 30 × 1.6 mm, suitable for imaging systems and medical applications. The desired ultra-broadband antenna with maximum gain (4.1 dB) in the range of 3 to 11 GHz is designed and the results are simulated, measured and presented. The proposed model is very useful and important for detection and identification of tumor with high confidence factor.
