The design final step of a desired practical radar is analysis and evaluation of it in a closed-loop simulation loop. This analysis and evaluation from the error viewpoint is very important. The most important errors in monopulse radar systems are target angle measurement in azimuth and elevation directions for ground targets. In this article, in a closed-loop simulator, extraction, analysis and evaluation of these errors have been obtained. By software implementation of this radar system and extraction of target angles from this system, with regard to initial exact position of target, these errors have been achieved. In this way, three types of antennas have been considered for this purpose and also, radome effect has been considered in radar closed-loop simulation and extraction of errors. The antenna parameters are gain, beam squint and radiation pattern and the radame parameters are insetion loss and boresight error. Comparison of simulations results, achieve to this summary that the antenna beam squint can be compensated in monopulse computation unit but the boresight error of radome causes a non-compensable error in the target position measurement.
