Although some success has been achieved in this area, but still no algorithm has been suggested that can recognize human emotions perfectly. Lack of attention to individual differences in response to an emotional stimulus may be one of the reasons. Among them, the most important factor is gender differences in response to emotions. The present study investigated the gender differences through electrocardiogram (ECG), galvanic skin response (GSR), finger pulse signals by considering comprehensive signal processing approaches. The autonomic signals of 47 students (mean age: women 21.9 ± 1.7, and men 21.1 ± 1.48 years) were recorded while watching happy, sadness, fear, and relaxed images. A wide range of features has been extracted from the three signals and differences between autonomic responses of men and women were evaluated by means of Wilcoxon statistical test. The results showed that there are significant differences in physiological responses of men and women while watching affective pictures, where the capability of heart responses is much higher than the GSR. In addition, the importance and effective role of nonlinear indices in the analysis of bio-signals of two genders in response to affective pictures has been proved. The most significant difference in the features extracted from two groups was related to the sadness. The results of this study emphasize on the gender role as an important factor in the problem of emotion recognition and suggest that individual differences should be considered in designing an emotion recognition system.}, keywords = {Autonomic signals,emotion,gender,linear and nonlinear analysis,Wilcoxon}, title_fa = {بررسی تفاوت‌های پاسخ به تحریکات تصویری دارای بار احساسی در زنان و مردان با استفاده از آزمون آماری ویلکاکسون}, abstract_fa = {بازشناسی احساسات یکی از موضوعات چالش‌برانگیز در بین محققان بخصوص در حوزه محاسبات عاطفی محسوب می‌شود. هرچند موفقیت‌هایی در این زمینه حاصل شده است، اما هنوز الگوریتمی ارائه نشده که بتواند احساسات بشر را به‌طور کامل بازشناسی نماید. یکی از دلایل آن، ممکن است عدم توجه به تفاوت افراد در پاسخ‌دهی به یک محرک عاطفی باشد. از این میان، مهم‌ترین عامل تفاوت‌های جنسیتی در پاسخ به احساسات است. مطالعه حاضر با ارائه رویکردی جامع از روش‌های تحلیل سیگنال، تفاوت‌های جنسیتی را در پارامترهای الکتروکاردیوگرام (ECG)، هدایت الکتریکی پوست (GSR) و پالس انگشت مورد بررسی قرار داده است. سیگنال‌های خودمختار 47 دانشجو (میانگین سن: زنان 1.7 ± 21.9 و مردان 1.48 ± 21.1 سال) در هنگام تماشای تصاویر احساسی شادی، غم، ترس و آرامش جمع‌آوری گردید. طیف وسیعی از ویژگی‌ها از سه سیگنال استخراج شد و تفاوت میان پاسخ سیگنال‌های خودمختار زنان و مردان با آزمون آماری ویلکاکسون مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان می‌دهد که تفاوت‌های معناداری میان پاسخ‌های فیزیولوژیکی زنان و مردان در هنگام تماشای تصاویر احساسی وجود دارد که قابلیت پاسخ‌های قلبی نسبت به GSR بالاتر است. همچنین، اهمیت و نقش ویژه شاخص‌های غیرخطی در تحلیل سیگنال‌های حیاتی دو جنس در پاسخ به تصاویر احساسی نشان داده شد. بیشترین تفاوت معنادار در ویژگی‌های استخراج‌شده از دو گروه مربوط به احساس غم بوده است. نتایج این تحقیق، بر نقش جنسیت به‌عنوان یک عامل مهم در مسئله بازشناسی احساسات تأکید دارد و پیشنهاد می‌کند که در هنگام طراحی سیستم بازشناسی احساسات تفاوت‌های فردی لحاظ گردد.}, keywords_fa = {احساسات,جنسیت,سیگنال‌های خودمختار,تحلیل خطی و غیرخطی,ویلکاکسون}, url = {https://tjee.tabrizu.ac.ir/article_5804.html}, eprint = {https://tjee.tabrizu.ac.ir/article_5804_d2f647e33349508aec8ff98aff9c635f.pdf} }
